with a birds head hilt with stag grips, Police aluminium eagle pinned to front, black leather frog with black leather scabbard, issue numbers stamped to rear of crossguard 'S.d.iv 271', these nearly match similar stampings to the scabbard throat, same area, slightly different numbers.
